Hesed is the beautiful Hebrew word that captures the very heart of God — His steadfast, faithful, covenant love. It is loyal beyond reason, kind beyond measure, merciful when we least deserve it, and devoted with a fierceness that never fails. It is the love that pursued us when we were far off, and the love that now calls His people to live as one unified family.

For more than twenty years, Brad and Kerri Wolfe have carried a deep longing: to see the Church experience the fullness of life Jesus prayed for in John 17 — a daily, joyful, covenant family walking together in His hesed. They have cried out in prayer over the loneliness so many believers carry, even inside church walls. Out of that ache, Hesed Coffeehouse was born.

We envision Hesed Coffeehouse as a warm, welcoming “third place” — not a traditional church building, but a beautiful, everyday gathering spot where people can come as they are. Here, an amazing cup of coffee mingles with genuine conversation. Strangers become friends. Friends become family. And the love of Christ becomes tangible in the ordinary rhythms of daily life.

At Hesed Coffeehouse you will find more than excellent coffee and local goods. You will find a safe, consistent place where historic Christian practices are lived out in real, relational ways: one-on-one discipleship and mentoring opportunities, deep Biblical study, heartfelt prayer and scheduled intercession times, apprenticeship in everyday moments, workshops that teach Biblical interests and strengthen marriages, regular shabbat meals, community worship, and opportunities for  inner healing. It will be a place people can return to day after day, building friendships while growing deeper in their walk with Christ.

The Vision Unfolding

The vision is already unfolding right now! We’ve launched our mobile Hesed Coffee Cart at Open Door Church in Noblesville. Several times each week you’ll find us there brewing excellent coffee, hosting events, and creating warm spaces for real conversation and connection. This is your invitation to come experience the heart of Hesed Coffeehouse firsthand to enjoy a great cup of coffee, meet new friends, and be part of the story from the very beginning as we build excitement and community together.

We are starting with a mobile coffee cart to ignite interest and we are actively looking for 1–2 acres of redeemable land in Northern Hamilton County to build a beautiful 3,000-square-foot barndominium coffeehouse. The downstairs will be a warm gathering space coffeehouse with prayer rooms and community areas, where we can also host private events. The upstairs apartment will serve as housing for missionaries and ministry workers needing rest and renewal.

You Are Invited to Be Part of This Story

Hesed Coffeehouse is more than a building,  it is an answer to Jesus’ prayer for oneness. It is holy ground disguised as a warm cup of coffee and an open chair at the table.
